Apple is reportedly working on an AirTag-sized AI wearable

Apple is reportedly developing a new AI-powered wearable pin, roughly the size of an AirTag, featuring a thin, flat, circular housing made of aluminum and glass. According to The Information, this device will be equipped with built-in cameras, including a standard and a wide-angle lens, three microphones, and a speaker, designed to capture the wearer's surroundings. It is also rumored to include a physical side button and support for wireless charging. The device is currently in the early stages of development, with a potential release as early as 2027. This development comes as Apple is also working on a more personalized Siri with Google and plans to transform its voice assistant into an AI chatbot for its devices in September. The rumored wearable enters a growing market of dedicated AI devices, following the struggles of competitors like Humane's AI Pin.
