Facebook can animate your profile pic with AI

Facebook is rolling out new AI-powered features designed to enhance user content, including the ability to animate still profile pictures with preset motions like confetti or waving. Meta suggests using clear photos of a single person for best results, with more animation options expected later in the year. Additionally, users can now restyle Stories or Memories by using the 'Restyle' button and inputting desired changes or selecting presets like "anime" or "low-poly." The platform is also adding animated and still background options for text posts, accessible via an 'A' icon during post drafting. These updates come as Meta, which oversees Facebook's over 2 billion daily active users, attempts to make the platform more culturally relevant.
