This launch follows similar moves by companies like Salesforce and OpenAI in the growing market for AI agent platforms, which Gartner deems "necessary infrastructure" for enterprise AI adoption. Additionally, New Relic unveiled new tools for OpenTelemetry (OTel), equipping its APM agents with OTel capabilities to allow enterprises to manage OTel data streams alongside other sources in one place, addressing fragmentation issues that have hindered mass OTel adoption.
