You can order Grubhub and Uber Eats ‘conversationally’ with Alexa Plus

Amazon has updated Alexa Plus to enable a more conversational food ordering experience with Grubhub and Uber Eats. Instead of a rigid question-and-answer format, users can now modify orders, add items, or change their minds mid-conversation without interrupting Alexa. The system displays order changes in real-time on Echo Show 8 devices and larger. Users connect their Grubhub or Uber Eats accounts through the Alexa app and can search for restaurants, reorder past meals, or explore new options. Amazon views this as the beginning of a broader effort to make Alexa more intuitive and plans to extend the conversational ordering feature to grocery shopping and travel planning.
