Gemini can now pull from Google Photos to generate personalized images

Google has updated its Gemini AI with a new Personal Intelligence feature that allows the model to utilize data from Google Photos to create personalized images. By using the Nano Banana 2 image model, Gemini can interpret prompts—such as designing a dream house—to generate visuals that reflect the user's lifestyle and specific people identified in their private photo library. Google emphasizes that it will not directly train its models on private user photos, though it may process limited information from prompts and responses. This feature is currently rolling out to eligible Gemini Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the United States, with plans to expand to Chrome desktops and more users in the near future.
