World, co-founded by Sam Altman, is expanding its identity verification program to Tinder users in select markets like Japan and the U.S. By physically visiting a World orb to scan their eyes and face, users can obtain a World ID that grants them a verified human badge on their dating profile. As an incentive, verified users currently receive five free Tinder boosts. This proof-of-humanity service is also being integrated into other platforms, such as Zoom and Docusign, through a newly launched dedicated World ID application.
