Investors back Skye’s AI home screen app for iPhone ahead of launch

Skye, an AI-powered iPhone app in private testing, aims to revolutionize smartphone AI interaction by creating an "agentic homescreen" using iOS widgets. The app offers personalized insights on weather, context, and health, and can draft emails, prepare for meetings, send reminders, and flag suspicious bank charges. It also provides location-specific recommendations. Despite not having a public product, the startup, Signull Labs, has raised over $3.58 million in pre-seed funding and has a waitlist of "tens of thousands" of users. Early backers include a16z, True Ventures, and SV Angel. The app is expected to launch to its waitlist soon.
