Gemini’s biggest new features are all about controlling your phone

Google has announced a series of new features under the banner of "Gemini Intelligence" for premium Android devices. Key updates include expanded task automation, which allows Gemini to interact with a broader range of apps, and the introduction of "Create My Widget," a tool that generates custom home screen widgets using natural language prompts. Additionally, Gemini is being integrated into Chrome for Android and autofill services, enabling the assistant to access personal data from sources like Gmail and Google Photos to streamline form-filling and task completion. These features will roll out in waves, starting with Pixel and Galaxy devices.
