Project Glasswing is an initiative designed to secure vital software by providing select partners access to the Claude Mythos Preview model for vulnerability scanning. Following the identification of over ten thousand critical security flaws by initial partners, the program is expanding to include 150 new organizations across 15 countries. These partners span essential sectors such as power, healthcare, and communications, where a security breach could have catastrophic global consequences. The program aims to help the cybersecurity industry adapt to the rapid emergence of powerful, accessible AI models by shifting focus from merely finding vulnerabilities to effectively disclosing and patching them. Ultimately, the project seeks to establish new security standards and defensive infrastructure, ensuring that cyberdefenders maintain a long-term advantage as AI capabilities continue to evolve.
