Fambot introduces an 'AI chief of staff' for families

Fambot, a startup founded by former Instagram engineer Greg Karlin and former Uber product head David Reich, has launched an AI chief of staff designed to help families manage the mental load of children's activities, school events, newsletters, and family logistics. The platform connects to users' email, calendar, and WhatsApp groups to provide daily checklists and calendar overviews. Unlike text-only AI agents, Fambot offers a web and mobile app interface for more advanced features. The company has tested the product with over 1,000 families and found it useful for various household types. Fambot is backed by $3.5 million in pre-seed funding and is currently free during beta testing on iOS, Android, and web.
