Amazon Alexa can now alert you when something new might tempt you to shop

Amazon launched a new Alexa for Shopping AI feature called 'Update Me When' that sends personalized notifications when something new or relevant happens that could lead to a purchase, such as brand product launches, TV show seasons, concerts, book releases, or tech products. The feature is part of Amazon’s broader AI shopping strategy; users currently set up alerts manually, but future versions could generate them automatically. Alexa also offers price tracking, personalized deals, shopping guides, cart building from past purchases, price history tracking, AI overviews, handwritten list transcription, and item comparison.
