ChatGPT Sketch turns your bad drawings into detailed AI images

OpenAI has announced a new feature called Sketch for ChatGPT, which allows users to draw simple doodles directly within the chat interface to generate detailed AI images. By typing @Sketch, users can open a drawing window, create a sketch, and then instruct ChatGPT to transform it. The reporter tested this by turning a crude mouse-drawn cat into a realistic photo and then used a new commenting feature to modify specific parts, like changing the eye color. Alongside Sketch, OpenAI released ChatGPT Images 2.5, which boasts more natural lighting, richer textures, better instruction-following across multiple turns, and up to 50% faster image generation latency compared to the previous version. The update is available for ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work, and Codex users on desktop, mobile, and web.
