Suno releases its first AI music model made with record industry help

Suno has released v6, its first AI music model trained with data licensed from major record labels including Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe. The model comes in three variants: a standard v6, a 'wild' version for more unpredictable results, and a free 'mini' version for quick creation. While v6 shows significant improvement in accurately capturing music genres, it still struggles to produce intentional musical imperfections like off-key notes. Key new features include in-chat song editing, the ability to combine elements from a user's library, and the capability to generate music from images, video, or other audio inputs. Suno plans to retire its previous models.
