The Gemini app is now available for Windows

The app features an instant access keyboard shortcut (Alt+Space) to open Gemini over active work for quick tasks like fact-checking. Users can also engage in deep work within a dedicated workspace, utilizing Gemini Spark for multi-step tasks or leveraging integrations with Google apps like Gmail and Drive. Additionally, the app allows for the creation of images and videos using tools like Nano Banana and Gemini Omni. The lightweight application is available globally and represents the beginning of expanded native desktop capabilities for Gemini.
