Muse is coming to Meta smart glasses

Meta announced it is "working on" bringing Muse, its AI agent, to its smart glasses, including new models unveiled at Meta Connect. Users will activate Muse by voice to handle tasks like guiding workouts, logging meals, and shopping. The glasses are also receiving a Hearing Enhancement feature (FDA-cleared software for mild-to-moderate hearing loss, available later this year via a Meta One subscription or $149 add-on), more context-rich Meta AI answers about surroundings for blind and low-vision users, audio customization to balance volume between ears, Dolby Atmos Capture for 360-degree spatial audio video, and a Dynamic Photo feature that captures multiple frames and uses Meta AI to suggest the best one. The Meta Ray-Ban Display gets a Hologram feature for photorealistic video calls (Early Access on WhatsApp in the US later this fall), voice-activated cycling and transit directions, turn-by-turn walking navigation using real-world landmarks instead of street signs, on-glasses photo editing, an Explore app, an improved calendar, and phone notification mirroring.
