Meta is making a standalone Muse AI gadget

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the Muse Charm, a standalone AI gadget for Meta's new Muse AI agent, at the end of his Meta Connect presentation. The device resembles a chunky smart watch without a strap, featuring a large screen, a small lanyard for carrying, a fingerprint sensor in the top-right corner for activation, a camera, and multiple microphone holes on the front. Unlike other wearables, it operates without requiring users to unlock a phone or open an app, though Zuckerberg did not detail how it connects to Meta's servers. Meta plans to ship the Charm in December for the holiday season, but production is limited — Zuckerberg noted only a few units have been built so far, with the finishing materials still being finalized. The device features a translucent exterior that reveals its internals, described by Zuckerberg as an "elevated hacker aesthetic." Additional details are promised to be shared soon.
