Someone hacked the Switch 2 by using an old game and AI
Summary
The Nintendo Switch 2 has apparently been jailbroken by modder Sammy Hajhamid, known as "pepsipu", who used OpenAI's Codex to create a software-only, tethered jailbreak called "ns2jb". The exploit requires the game SmileBASIC 4 and must be run each time the console is turned on, though another modder claims the title is not strictly necessary. The jailbreak was demonstrated by running a custom version of Mario Kart World with new characters such as Cinnamoroll, the red Angry Bird, Peter Griffin, and Steve from Minecraft. While the jailbreak is extremely complex and its full impact is still unclear, it could signal the beginning of more exploits for the Switch 2, especially with the help of AI.
