Anthropic expands partnership with Google and Broadcom for multiple gigawatts of next-generation compute

Anthropic has entered into a strategic agreement with Google and Broadcom to acquire multiple gigawatts of next-generation TPU capacity, expected to be operational by 2027. This expansion aims to support the company's rapid growth and the increasing demand for its Claude AI models. Anthropic reports a significant surge in revenue and enterprise adoption, with the number of high-spending business customers doubling in under two months. The new infrastructure will be largely based in the United States, further supporting the company’s commitment to domestic computing investment while maintaining its multi-cloud strategy across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
