ElevenLabs’s new music generation model can switch genres mid-track

ElevenLabs has introduced Music v2, an updated AI music generation model that allows for complex composition, including the ability to shift between genres like opera and heavy metal mid-track. The model features enhanced capabilities for sectional song building, allowing artists to edit specific parts of a track without affecting others. Unlike some competitors, ElevenLabs emphasized that Music v2 is trained on licensed data cleared for commercial use. The model is currently accessible via the ElevenCreative and ElevenMusic platforms, with API support expected soon.
