Google has updated its NotebookLM tool to include a feature that creates 60-second, vertical AI-generated videos based on user-provided source material. These clips, which feature narration and AI-generated imagery, are designed to offer a quick, engaging way to synthesize complex notes and research.
Currently available to Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers, the feature can be accessed by selecting the “Video” option within the NotebookLM interface. While the tool is currently limited to English, Google plans to expand access to free-tier users in the future. This update complements the platform’s existing capabilities, which include generating AI podcasts and visual explainers.
