Redeploying Claude Fable 5

Anthropic has officially resumed access to its Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models after a temporary suspension triggered by US government export controls. The restrictions, which began on June 12 following reports of potential safeguard bypasses, have been lifted as of June 30. Anthropic utilized this period to implement enhanced safety classifiers and coordinate closely with government agencies. Moving forward, the company is collaborating with industry partners like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft to establish a standardized framework for assessing AI model jailbreaks and is strengthening its security cooperation with the US government to ensure the responsible deployment of frontier AI models.
