Runway launches AI model router as generative media gets crowded

Runway is evolving from an AI video startup into an infrastructure layer for generative media by launching the Runway Media Router. Available through the recently released developer platform Runway Dev, the tool automatically selects the optimal image, video, or audio generation model for a given request based on developer priorities such as quality, speed, and token cost.
