Claude’s voice mode is now available for Opus and Sonnet

Anthropic is expanding its voice mode feature beyond the faster Claude Haiku model to now include its more powerful Opus and Sonnet models. Originally designed for quick queries, the voice mode will now leverage Sonnet and Opus to handle complex problem-solving, deep analysis, and task execution such as drafting pitches or adjusting calendar appointments. Users can seamlessly switch between text and voice modes mid-conversation and change models as needed. Additionally, Anthropic is rolling out full support for several new languages—including French, German, Spanish, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese—moving them out of beta.
