Slack is launching collaborative vibe-coding channels

Slack is launching "Slack Code," a new feature featuring dedicated channels where teams can work alongside AI coding agents like Anthropic's Claude or Cognition's Devin instead of juggling multiple tools. The launch includes open, project-specific channels with user tabs, change comparison features, and HTML output previews. Users can simply tag an AI agent to spin up a code channel, allowing everyone full visibility, code diff auditing, live previews, and feedback capabilities before deployment. These temporary channels automatically archive upon project completion and provide a complete audit log, integrating seamlessly with leading AI agents available on Slack's marketplace.
