YouTube releases new AI features for creators within its Studio app

YouTube announced several new AI-powered features for its YouTube Studio app at its annual "Made on YouTube" event. The updates include expanding the Ask Studio AI Q&A feature to iOS and Android, a new draft-feedback tool that analyzes unpublished videos and suggests improvements to pacing, structure, and storytelling, and a research feed showing creators what content is working on the platform. Creators can now generate thumbnails and titles matched to their style, use dynamic thumbnails that show three different options to different audience segments, and soon test up to three video cuts to see which opening hook works best. YouTube also plans to automatically monitor thumbnail performance and proactively change one if it doesn't perform well; creators have already run over 40 million A/B tests on titles and thumbnails. Analytics updates will go beyond raw numbers to explain why videos perform as they do and suggest ways to improve engagement. Additionally, YouTube introduced conversational editing in Shorts and the YouTube Create app.
