China reportedly recruited AI exec to spy on Jensen Huang

According to The New York Times, China's Ministry of State Security recruited Megaspeed executive Alice Huang to spy on Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. Her mission was to gather information about American AI chips and potentially influence Nvidia to make its most advanced chips available to China. Megaspeed is an Nvidia customer, and Alice Huang has relationships with top executives in the AI chip industry, including at Gigabyte. The NYT previously reported that Jensen Huang was the target of a Chinese spy plot and described his relationship with Alice Huang, who are not related, as "close." President Trump was briefed on the relationship last year but took no action. Recently, three House committees asked Jensen Huang to appear for a closed-door briefing on his interactions with Alice Huang.
