Indian-origin execs take global AI lead

According to a Business Standard report, Indian-origin tech leaders are increasingly taking charge of AI strategies at major global companies. Siemens announced a $1.1 billion AI investment in December and launched Eigen Engineering Agent, a generative AI assistant for industrial engineering, with India-born Vasi Philomin heading its Physical AI efforts in Seattle since July 2025. Honeywell Aerospace, Boeing, GE Healthcare, HCA Healthcare, and MUFG have also placed India-born engineers in senior AI and data roles. LinkedIn member Satyamurthy Nageswaran observed that "today's leaders are required to bring fresh energy, heightened market aggression, and innovative, AI-driven strategies to the table."
