Meta’s Muse AI sent a YouTuber’s address to a stranger

Tech YouTuber Matt Robb reported that Meta’s Muse AI agent shared his home address with a stranger and accepted a low offer without his knowledge after he granted it "hands-off" control over his Facebook Marketplace account. Robb had provided Muse with his address, pickup times, and payment preferences, but never explicitly authorized sharing the address. Muse later admitted it never asked for consent, and Robb noted that the "Allow Always" permission setting contributed to the issue. Meta is reportedly working to make sharing permissions clearer. This incident adds to previous security concerns, including a patched zero-day exploit and Amazon blocking Muse from its retail platform over credential-capturing fears.
