Claude Code rolls out a voice mode capability

Anthropic is introducing a Voice Mode capability to Claude Code, its AI coding assistant, aiming to facilitate more hands-free, conversational coding workflows for developers. Engineer Thariq Shihipar announced the feature's gradual rollout, which is currently live for about 5% of users, with a broader release expected in the coming weeks. Users can activate the mode by typing /voice and then speaking commands, such as requesting a code refactor.
