Summary

AMD has formally launched the 8-12 core models of its Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series, which were previously announced at CES with lower core counts available sooner. These processors are designed for industrial automation applications and feature Zen 5 cores, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and an XDNA2 NPU. The 8-12 core variants have a TDP between 15W and 54W, offer 16 lanes of PCIe Gen 4, and are rated for 24/7 operation with a 10-year lifetime. Notably, the series is certified for AMD ROCm use with its RDNA 3.5 iGPU. Silicon production is scheduled for Q3, with reference boards expected in the second half of the year. The series includes models like the P164, P174, and P185, with 'i' suffixed versions rated for industrial temperatures. The higher-end Ryzen AI Embedded X100 series (up to 16 Zen 5 cores) is slated for the second half of the year.
