Claude is connecting directly to your personal apps like Spotify, Uber Eats, and TurboTax

Anthropic has expanded Claude’s capabilities by introducing connectors for various personal applications, including Spotify, Uber, Audible, AllTrails, TripAdvisor, Instacart, and TurboTax. This update builds upon previous integrations with work-focused tools by allowing users to access personal service data directly within Claude conversations. To ensure privacy and security, Anthropic has stated that data from these apps is not used to train their models and that users maintain full control over their connections.

Furthermore, the platform emphasizes transparency by confirming that there are no sponsored answers or paid placements within these interactions. When multiple apps are relevant, Claude ranks results based on utility and requires explicit user verification before performing actions such as making purchases or reservations. These new connectors are available immediately across all Claude plans through the customization settings.
