OpenAI now lets teams make custom bots that can do work on their own

OpenAI is rolling out new, cloud-based workspace agents for its Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans, enabling users to build custom bots that perform autonomous business tasks. These agents can integrate with tools like Slack and Gmail to handle activities such as reporting feedback or drafting emails. Designed for team collaboration, these agents allow organizations to share, build, and refine workflows collectively. While these tools represent an evolution of OpenAI’s previous 'GPTs,' the company intends to keep existing GPTs available while providing a path to convert them into these more advanced workspace agents.
