Microsoft is rolling out a new Agent Mode for its Microsoft 365 Copilot, enabling the AI to act as an active collaborator rather than a passive assistant. Previously referred to as "vibe working," this upgrade allows Copilot to follow complex commands and perform multi-step edits directly within Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Users can monitor the AI's actions in real-time via a sidebar, with capabilities ranging from adding formulas in Excel to updating presentation templates in PowerPoint. This feature is now available to Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, and Premium subscribers as the default Copilot experience.
