Gmail is going to start talking to you

Google has announced Gmail Live, an AI-driven voice interface integrated into Gmail that uses Gemini technology to answer user questions based on their email content. By tapping an icon, users can query specific information—such as event details or travel itineraries—without manually searching through emails. To ensure reliability, the system provides sources for its answers, allowing users to verify the information. This feature, along with similar voice-driven updates for Google Docs and Keep, will roll out this summer for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Additionally, Google is expanding its AI Inbox feature to more subscription tiers.
