Samsung Electronics brings ChatGPT and Codex to employees

Samsung Electronics has launched a massive enterprise deployment of ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex for employees in Korea and its global Device eXperience (DX) division. The initiative aims to integrate AI into R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and corporate operations to boost efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.

OpenAI emphasizes that this deployment enables Samsung to use AI within a secure, governed framework featuring enterprise-grade data protection. Beyond software development, employees will leverage these tools for drafting documents, data analysis, and automated workflows. This collaboration extends the existing partnership between the two companies, which previously focused on supplying advanced memory semiconductors for AI infrastructure.
