Midjourney bought the astrology app Co-Star

Midjourney, the AI startup known for its image generation technology, has acquired the popular personalized astrology app Co-Star. Co-Star combines human insight, NASA data, and AI to provide daily horoscopes and friendship compatibility metrics. Following the acquisition, which reportedly closed in the spring, Co-Star founder Banu Guler will remain in charge of the app while also becoming Midjourney's chief design officer. Guler and her team will assist Midjourney in developing its first dedicated applications, including an image generation app.
