New ways to learn and teach with ChatGPT Work and Codex

OpenAI has introduced three new education plugins for ChatGPT Work and Codex—tailored for college students, K–12 educators, and college educators—to help users leverage advanced AI capabilities securely and effectively. Available through ChatGPT Edu and ChatGPT for Teachers, these plugins integrate course materials, calendars, and tools to streamline lesson planning, coursework, and personalized learning. Additionally, OpenAI is expanding professional development and student programs, such as the OpenAI Student Collective and workshops with the Walton Family Foundation, to bridge the AI capability gap and foster responsible innovation in classrooms.
