Tino Cuellar joins Anthropic as Chief Global Affairs Officer

Mariano-Florentino (Tino) Cuéllar has been appointed as Anthropic's first Chief Global Affairs Officer to lead the company's global policy, strategic international engagement, and government relations. Cuéllar brings extensive experience from his previous roles as President of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a Justice of the Supreme Court of California, and director of various Stanford institutes. He also previously served as a Trustee of Anthropic's Long-Term Benefit Trust, a position he stepped down from to take on this new executive role at a critical time for AI governance and international policy.
