Saber denies replacing Rideshare Stimulator’s writers with ChatGPT

Saber CEO Matthew Karch has denied allegations that the company replaced human writers with ChatGPT for the upcoming game Rideshare Stimulator, developed by Unigine. However, former lead writer Stella Sacco disputed this, claiming she was replaced midway through development and that generative AI was used for passenger dialogue and voices without proper disclosure on Steam. While Karch maintained that no employees have been replaced by AI and that AI is only used experimentally for an infinite passenger free-ride mode, Sacco criticized the company for attempting to minimize the impact of generative AI on human labor.
