Furthermore, Similarweb data indicates Claude reached 11.3 million daily active users on March 2, an 183% increase since the start of the year. While still far behind ChatGPT's massive user base, Claude's growth accelerated around the time of the Pentagon negotiations. Anthropic is also touting its success, reporting over 1 million daily sign-ups and achieving the No. 1 app spot on the U.S. App Store and in 15 other countries, even as ChatGPT's app uninstalls have reportedly increased.
