Replit snags $9B valuation 6 months after hitting $3B

Replit, the collaborative coding platform, announced a $400 million Series D funding round led by Georgian Partners, bringing its valuation to $9 billion. This follows a $250 million round in September that valued the company at $3 billion. Investors in this round include G Squared, Prysm Capital, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, and several others, as well as angel investors Shaquille O’Neal and Jared Leto. While Replit hasn't disclosed current annual recurring revenue (ARR), it aims to reach $1 billion by year-end, after previously being on track for $150 million. Founder and CEO Amjad Masad notes the company’s success came after a nine-year journey and a strategic pivot towards non-programmers.
