Gumloop lands $50M from Benchmark to turn every employee into an AI agent builder

Gumloop, co-founded by Max Brodeur-Urbas, has raised a $50 million Series B round led by Benchmark, with participation from Nexus VP, First Round Capital, and others. The funding will be used to scale the company as demand surges from enterprise clients like Shopify and Ramp.

Gumloop's platform allows non-technical employees to build reliable AI agents capable of handling complex, multi-step tasks autonomously, fostering company-wide automation. Benchmark general partner Everett Randle, who led the investment, believes Gumloop's intuitive agent-builder unlocks the potential for every worker to gain AI superpowers.

Randle noted that Gumloop excels due to its minimal learning curve, allowing immediate agent creation, and its model-agnostic approach, which offers flexibility to use the best foundational model for any task while accommodating existing enterprise credits for various providers like OpenAI and Anthropic.
