Google’s Genie world model can now simulate real streets with Street View

Google DeepMind has expanded its Genie world model to incorporate Street View data, enabling the creation of interactive, navigable environments based on real-world locations. Announced at Google I/O, this feature allows users to simulate specific settings, such as snowy conditions or sunlit streets, which could prove highly beneficial for robotics training and autonomous vehicle development.
