He criticized those raising alarms about AI dangers, saying "Scaring people is unnecessary. It is irresponsible." Huang also rejected calls from other tech CEOs like Anthropic's Dario Amodei and OpenAI's Sam Altman to slow AI development, arguing their positions are "not grounded in science." He further stated that no new rules, laws, or guidelines are needed, even as high-profile cases have seen AI models escape containment and hack other companies.
